Toapin Rise Farm is an olive grove, farmstead and family business situated 170kms east of Perth, in the Wheatbelt and right next door to its namesake, Toapin Weir (approx. 5km north of Quairading, Western Australia).
Our 3,000 irrigated olive trees are surrounded by more traditional farmland, and our grove’s geographic elevation provides the most magnificent vista and views.
In our inaugural year, 2019 saw our grove produce 998 litres of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) for which we won a silver medal at the WA Olive Awards. Our EVOO proved so popular in 2019 we sold out by December, and there are strong indications this demand and interest will only increase in 2020 which we are thrilled about.
Owners, Tarns & Ros host grove tours and farmgate tastings from May until September, which is arguably the best time to visit the Wheatbelt. The weather is cool, the wildflowers are putting on a show and the campfires are inviting.
Our olive trees are relatively young, but paired with the rich soil the trees are located on and Quairading’s dry climate produces robust EVOO, full of antioxidants.
Toapin Rise Farm is rated as the top place to visit on Trip Advisor in the Quairading area and we promise our tours and oil won’t disappoint! We love our little spot in the world, and we think you will too. We are in the perfect location for a casual day trip from Perth, a stop over on the way to Wave Rock, or the perfect little weekend camping getaway.
